Amar Gamal

One of the most popular Belly dance Superstars in the world, Amar Gamal is an extremely talented and gorgeous Cuban dancer who has fused the traditions of belly dancing with the flash and style of hip-hop moves, and the results have earned her a host of admirers, She lived in Florida as a teenager.

At the age of thirteen, Gamal began performing as a bellydancer with the Mid-Eastern Dance Exchange company, based in Miami Beach. One of her directors at the time was the well known dancer, Tamalyn Dallal.

Amar was awarded first place in the Mondo Melodia Bellydance Breakbeats competition held in LA, May 14th 2002. In 1996 Amar Gamal won the double crown title of Ms. America and Ms. World of the Bellydance.
